Every team member will be awarded 10 house points for taking part and 10 more house points for each £25 raised

What is the Enterprise Competition?

The aim of the competition is to raise the most money you can for our school by selling products or services to your friends, neighbours and relatives*

All the money raised will go into making our school a better place.

*You are not allowed to sell in school

How do I take part? What do I need to do?

Register to enter

Please ask your parents or carers to fill the registration form for each pupil no later than 7th of October. Pupils can take part individually or in a team of no more than 4

Turn your business idea into reality

Work out how you will make money and organise your products and services together with your team mates.

Remember, the goal is to make as much money as possible but everyone who takes part is playing an important part in improving our school

Make sure you are polite and respectful at all times - you are representing our school and its values

And make sure your parents / carers always know what you are doing, who you are with and where you are

Here are some ideas to get you thinking…

Hints and tips

Stay safe and do not take any risks when selling your products and services. Make sure the adults you live with always know where you are and who you are with
Decide a product that you want to sell or a service that you want to offer - there are a few ideas above to give you some inspiration
Work out how to make it happen - what supplies or equipment do you need? How much time do you have to do this? Who can help you with this?
Think carefully about the price - too high and people won’t buy, too low and you might not be making the most money you can
Who will your customers be and where are they? You can’t sell at school so who else can you sell to - your neighbours, friends, relatives, a club you go to?
How will you tell them about your sale? Send a WhatsApp message to your street? Give out fliers? Go door-to-door? Set up a stall?
Fill the Registration Form at the beginning so you know what information you have to provide
Make sure you know the deadlines! Register by 7th of October , Submit the completion form and transfer the money you raised by 9.00am on 28th of October.
